The ACU™ monitors over 40 health metrics, integrates essential medical services, and enables real-time virtual consultations with Earth-based experts. The ACU™ can autonomously detect the issue in emergencies like appendicitis, initiate remote consultation, and coordinate robotic-assisted procedures. It then manages recovery, tracking vitals, administering medications, and ensuring continuous care. To counteract microgravity effects, the ACU™ integrates AstroStrength™, a Baüne-developed platform enabling a mechanical loading exercise system paired with an AR headset (e.g., HoloLens). Its expert system analyzes real-time biometric and performance data, delivering adaptive feedback and personalized health optimization. This intelligent, autonomous platform ensures astronaut safety, resilience, and peak performance in space.
